Founded in 1979, Copernicus Lodge provides independent living and long-term care for Polish seniors in Toronto’s Roncesvalles Village. Its mission is to support seniors while preserving Polish culture and traditions.
Initially built to serve the aging Polish diaspora, a number of whom served in the Second World War or survived Siberian exile, Copernicus Lodge has grown over the past 45 years into an organization that provides compassionate care and services to more than 400 seniors and remains true to its Roman Catholic roots and Polish heritage.
